Welcome to the Meganova family! I am going to quickly walk you through the modes of this app so you are up to speed on what Meganova has to offer to you and your gaming.

Meganova Season ONE has 5 modes – Warm Up, Come Back from a Loss, Reduce Gaming Anxiety, Get Stronger and PRO Mode. To start a mode simply tap on the mode you want, select your guide for this session (you choose your guide again for every new session) and then tap the red start button when you are ready to begin. If at any point you want to start your mode over or start a different mode, tap the home icon to go back to the main menu. To go back to the last exercise in any mode, tap the back arrow on the far left, bottom of your screen. If you want to skip an exercise, tap the forward arrow on the far right, bottom of your screen to skip to the next exercise in that mode.

If you are just sitting down to play, Warm Up Mode consists of 12 exercises to get both your body and mind going the same speed as the game before you get into the lobby. Simply follow the on screen prompts and you will be good to go.

Come Back from a Loss Mode is a companion to Warm Up Mode and should be used to reset your focus away from difficulty and/or defeat in your current game session (it happens to us all) and give you a fresh perspective and interrupt any negative thought patterns. When things aren’t going your way, take a moment and use this exercise that should take you around 3 minutes to complete so you can hopefully start putting points up on the scoreboard.

Anxiety kills performance. Anything you can do to lower any anxiety when your gaming performance matters to you will pay big dividends. Designed to reset your cerebellum and shift focus away from the source of your anxiety, Reduce Gaming Anxiety Mode relies heavily on physical movement. For this mode you will need a small object that is easily ‘catch-able’ in your hands (not your phone) and a small space to perform body weight exercises.

Get Stronger Mode is your strength training mode in between gaming sessions. The focus here is to maintain optimal health for an esports athlete. Pain and unnecessary fatigue will hold you back from playing your best, Get Stronger Mode addresses common injury and overuse points to hopefully keep you playing strong and pain free. If you have a rubber band handy, you will need it for this mode but it is not mandatory.

When you need to be razor sharp, PRO Mode. PRO Mode is a compilation of 18 of our strongest exercises, arranged to turn on every switch in you both body and mind. Think of PRO Mode as a stronger, more comprehensive version of Warm Up Mode. You will need around six minutes to complete the full mode, consider using Warm Up Mode more regularly and saving PRO Mode for your biggest and most important moments.
